Girls on the Run Begins February 17 and runs through April 28th with practices on Monday and Wednesday. The final 5K race is on May 1st in Grand Junction. For more information on the Girls on the Run program click here
Jump Rope For Heart
We are participating in the American Heart Association's Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser. The month of February is healthy heart month in physical education class. Heart healthy lessons on exercise and nutrition will be one of the main topics. February 23-25 will be the Jump Rope for Heart day in p.e. class when the donation folders are due and the kids will have a fun day of heart healthy activities. Visit the Jump Rope for Heart website to learn more, to track our progress and to create your child's donation website that can be emailed to friends and family for donations online!!! It takes heart to be a hero.
Congratulations to Mrs. Fox's class for collecting the most box tops for the contest ending in December.
Keep collecting those box tops and earn fun parties for your class. The next collection period ends February 28th. Get those box tops in and watch your class total rise up on the box top poster in the main hallway.
